PTHS Majorettes and Flags

Mrs. Blair Maxwell – Majorette Sponsor
		PTHS Majorettes are directed and choreographed by Blair Maxwell. This is her 2nd year as the HS sponsor. She’s been majorette sponsor for PTJH since 2000 and Kilgore MS since 2006. Blair’s twirled since she was 3 yrs old. Her experience includes 1, 2, and 3 batons, knives, and drum major. She began teaching twirling in high school. Blair was Henderson MS Drum Major, Henderson HS twirler, KC Twirler and KC Drum Major. Blair graduated from Henderson HS in 2000,attended Kilgore College, and


graduated Cum Laude from SFA in 2004 with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies. She taught K-4th ESL in Marshall ISD for 2 years and currently spends days at home with her 2 yr old daughter, Brooklyn, who is the PTHS twirlers biggest fan! Blair owns and operates Blair's Elite Twirling Academy (BETA) providing private lessons to area students. Blair has been married to her husband Benji for five years. The Maxwell family resides in Liberty City.
