Welcome to my classroom! I am so lucky and excited to have such a wonderful class of awesome students this year...Alex, Brittan, Broc, Callie, Cheyenne, Daishia, Devon, Fabian, Harper, Infinity, Jacob, Kaitlin, Keelan, Madison, Mose, Ramon, Ryane, and Tristan! You are going to be amazed at all of the things we are going to learn this year! Parents, PLEASE check your child's take-home folder every day,and sign or initial it in the appropriate box. Also, please help your child get into the habit of returning the take-home folder each day. This is very important! I check the take-home folders every morning to make sure the papers have been removed...and, most importantly... I look for your signature. That way I know that you are seeing your child's work. PLEASE REMOVE THE PAPERS THAT ARE IN THE TAKE-HOME FOLDER, AND KEEP THEM AT HOME. When you look through your child's papers, you are able to see if your child is struggling in any areas! Another important thing to look for in the folder each day is your child's reading log. Your child will bring it home on the very first day of school. Please take the time to read the letter that I have stapled to it...it is very important and informative! Your child will also need to get into the habit of bringing his/her reading log back to school each day...I look at these daily also!Anyway, it is going to be a great year!
