WHERE WERE YOU IN 42? |
Where Were You in 42? is a two hour USO show sponsored by the Pine Tree High School Leadership Class. The evening is filled with hits from the 40's ... songs, dancing, radio hits. As students learn of their heritage, our Greatest Generation enjoys an evening of memories. All proceeds from the event benefit the Heritage House Senior Citizen Center.
As a result of the students' outstanding organization and production of Where Were You in '42?, the cast is asked to perform at various other events such as:
*Gladewater Former Students' Association Veteran's Tribute
*Longview Regional Hospital's Active Advantage Valentine's program
*Good Shepherd Medical Center's A Fair of the Heart Day of Dance
*Taste of Longview
* Pine Tree Education Foundation's Best of the Best

Humble beginnings in 1996 |
The very first Where Were You was held in the Rusk County Ag Barn and sponsored by the Tatum Leadership Class. In its thirteenth year, Where Were You now holds two performances at the First Christian Church in Longview and is sponsored by the Pine Tree High School Leadership Class. | |

In the late 90's we moved to the Pine Tree Junior High Cafeteria. What a great move that was! No building stages or running sound! | |

Using the Michelob Room! |
We moved to what was once the Michelob Room on Whaley Street for one year before moving back to the junior high cafeteria. | | |

Back to PTJHS Cafeteria! |
The audience began to grow until this facility was no longer feasible for us. That's when we moved to the First Christian Church on 6th street. | |

Where Were You 2006 |
Not only did we move to a wonderful new facility ... but we cranked up the quality of the show! Dance instructors volunteered to help the group by teaching swing and adding new dances to our show! The students also added video to the show! | | |
