Most people remember with fondness at least one person who had a special, positive impact on their lives. This mentor was most likely someone who gave them extra attention, provided encouragement and communicated a deep belief in their potential. Unfortunately, many young people will not find such a person by chance. The search is on for Pine Tree parent volunteers to help with the annual "After Prom Event". Prom is Saturday, April 28th.
The "After Prom" officially starts at Midnight and runs until 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 29. Volunteers would most likely need to be at their stations by 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. Help is needed in the areas of casino dealers (tons of fun), security, clean up, banking (exchanging chips for auction vouchers), runners, food and beverage, decorations, community service, and gym games. Organizers want to give the class of '07 an After Prom that will keep them having a safe blast all night and provide a lifetime memory of an evening spent with friends.
