Senior citizens and retired school teachers who live in the Pine Tree district are invited to join this club and enjoy a variety of events and benefits. We hope you will encourage your friends and neighbors to join you as a Share the Schools club member. Our students and staff look forward to your visit.

In our book, you're someone very special! Over the years, you've supported Pine Tree's public schools. Now it's our turn to say "THANKS!".

The PTISD Share the Schools Club is designed to encourage senior citizens to become more involved with Pine Tree ISD schools, by allowing eligible seniors free admission to all athletic and clutural events and activities sponsored by the district.

Benefits include
- Use of the high school library on any regular school day, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
- Free monthly blood pressure checks by any PT school nurse.
- School cafeteria lunch at teacher prices.
- Discount or free entrance into athletic and fine art events.
- Special events...such as:

Senior Citizens are invited to meet once a year for lunch and a program where local veterans are honored.

This year, on Thursday, November 2nd, Pine Tree Junior High was the stopping point for the bus tour provided by principal, Buster Turner. Junior High student council was on hand to present flags to the veterans in the audience who were honored guests. A program featuring the Junior High Girls Choir preceded lunch. More Pictures

Retired teachers and seniors from the Pine Tree area gathered on December 6th to celebrate the season with song and lots of goodies to eat. More Pictures

Eligibility for membership is determined in one of the following ways:
- Residents of the Pine Tree ISD who are 65 years of age or better.
- Spouses of Share the School club members, regardless of age.
- Retired PTISD employees who are eligible for retirement benefits.
