Thank you for checking your child's take home folder nightly. Your interest and extra help at home, play a major part in your chld's success. Your child should read nightly for about twenty minutes. During this time, it is great way to help your child to become a fluent reader. Please remember to write down the books on the reading log.

Two library books should come home every Thursday. You may keep these books until the following Thursday or return them as soon as your child is finished reading them. Please remember that these books are self-selected by your chld and they may need your help reading them!

Your child's poerty folder should come home every Friday. During the weekend, please help your child read this poem to you as well as those from previous weeks.

Your child will bring new words home every Monday along with spelling homework for that week. A spelling test is given every Friday!
