Pine Tree Junior High placed second in State for the 4A Schools of Texas! The Texas Math and Science Coaches Association, a subset of UIL, sponsors the state event annually.

Pine Tree Jr. High won the overall 2nd place sweepstakes award at the state TMSCA meet. There were approximately 1800 students competing at the meet with approximately 40 schools competing for the sweepstakes award. The team also won team trophies for all four events. View the press release below:

Pine Tree 7th grader won four individual trophies at the recent TMSCA State Championship competition for 4A schools in Austin. Koya placed 1st in Number Sense, 2nd in Calculator, 3rd in General Math, and 3rd in Science at the state meet.
