We are now in our 2nd Six Weeks of classes. All Reading Classes will be reading a novel during this time. I am so proud of how all the students are progressing with their AR Reading Goals. This Six Weeks, the students are
required to earn 15 AR points. Please check with your student often and ask to look at their AR Reading Log.

They keep this in their Reading Slicker/Notebook. All books that are read are listed, also the
scores they made on the tests. Parents, please encourage your student to read each day from their AR book. We go to the Library every other week. The students also have the opportunity to go to the Library whenever they need to check out another book.


MORE INFO TO REMEMBER:

* Oct. 22 - Early/Release Day - The students will only attend morning classes. School will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m.
* On Oct. 22, from 1-6:00 p.m. we will be having Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please ask your student about the note sent home on Monday, Oct. 15th that explained how to set up a conference.
* Notes were also sent home again on Wed., Oct. 17th reminding Parents/Guardians about the Early/Release Day on MONDAY, OCT. 22nd.
