Howdy! My name is Ben Longenecker and I teach Regular, Pre-AP, and AP Physics. I am a proud Fightin' Texas Aggie with a background in Electrical Engineering. I began teaching at Pine Tree in 2004. I love problem-solving, technology, and learning. My goals are to provide a high quality education and to challenge students to take responsibility for their academic and personal success.

Physics has been called the most basic science - to learn and appreciate any branch of science, you need a good knowledge of Physics. Most modern technology comes from Physics, including electricity, magnetism, optics, lasers, mechanics, and waves. Do you enjoy solving problems, working with technology, and knowing how stuff works?
