I am excited about the new year starting. I have had a fun summer with my family, and hope each of my new students have too.


Estoy muy contenta de que ya vaya empezar el nuevo año escolar. Me la he pasado muy divertida este verano con mi familia, y esepro que tambien mis nuevos alumnos.

Each student in my class is given a book which they are to read at home with their parents. It is important the students have practice reading because we are working on their fluency as well as comprehension. A child who reads thirty minutes a day is exposed to many words. Reading helps build the students vocabulary.

Cada estudiante en mi clase recibe un libro, el cual deben leer con sus papas en casa. Es importante que los estudiantes practiquen la lectura porque estamos trabajando en su dominio al igual que la comprensión. Un niño/a que lee treinta minutos al día están expuestos a muchas palabras. La lectura ayuda desarrollar el vocabulario del estudiante.
