On May 30, 2008, we had a special visit from Jose Francisco Torres. He is a soccer player who plays on one of Mexico's teams. His team won the Copa Libertadores, and will participating in the Olympics in Japan. He showed our class his medals, as well as signed class t-shirts. He also played soccer with the first grade classes and showed various tricks with the soccer ball. We appreaciate Mr. Torres and his family for coming out and visiting with us. It was a real treat.
