I am originally from South Louisiana. I received my degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. I received my Texas Teaching Certificate in 1983 from A&M University at Commerce, Texas.
I've been happily married for 33 years and a mother of three.
Teaching has been a wonderful part of my life for the past 26 years. I’ve taught 2nd grade for 5 years, 4th grade for 6 years, and now 7th grade here at Pine Tree for the last 15 years.
I think I’m very fortunate to be able to teach subjects that I absolutely love.
