I expect every child to read at least 90 minutes each week. I ask that parents record the story/book and the minutes read on the reading log provided behind the student homework section in your child's take home notebook.
I give out a new spelling list and spelling homework every Monday. It will come home in your child's take home folder in the homework pocket. Spelling homework is due every Thursday unless it is a short week. On weeks when we are out on Monday, homework is due on Friday.
Math homework will be given periodically throughout the year. It will reflect those skills that we have learned and your child needs to review. This will be given out on a Monday as well and will be due on Friday.
