 Hello and Welcome, Pine Tree High School parents and students! I am Mrs. Whitfield and will be teaching IPC and Environmental Systems.
First of all, I would like to take a moment to tell you a little about myself. I was raised and live in East Texas about 30 miles west of Longview in a small town called Big Sandy. I graduated High School there and continued my education at Tyler Junior College then transferred to UT Tyler where I obtainted a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I finished at UT with my pedogological (teaching) classes and was certified in Life Science as well as a composite certification in Science grades 4-12.
The most important thing in my life are children--yours or you and mine. I have two of my own. Abbie is 5 and attends PT Primary. She was sooo excited to become part of the Pirate family. J.W. or Bubba is 3 and attends daycare in Gladewater.
I am hoping to make this website more user friendly for students but it is a work in progress, but please feel free to go to the subject website at the left to view your subject's information.
Also, I am going to compile a list of TAKS, Physics and Chemistry rsources that may help you tackle the TAKS or my class. So visit the Resources site and check out some of the great tutorials! |
