Two students are picked every other Friday to be a Pirate Pal based on their good behavior. Pirate Pals are good listeners and good friends to others. When your child is picked, they will get to play at Kid's Station! Remember, this is a priviledge that has to be earned.

If you have an important note for me, please pin it to your child's shirt or put it in the clear plastic sleeve in front of the calendar inside your child's folder.

Please be sure to check the calendar in your child's folder for his/her snack day. We don't have lunch until 12:10 and the children need a snack. Thank you to the parents who have sent extra snacks! They are always used!!

If your child is eating breakfast at school, PLEASE have them here in plenty of time to eat. They need to be in the classroom by 8:00.

My name is Elizabeth Davis and I am so excited about the new school year! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am an '86 graduate of Pine Tree High School...GO PIRATES!!!! I am also a graduate of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. I am starting my 14th year of teaching with this being my 3rd year at Pine Tree. I have been married for 15 wonderful years and have one beautiful daughter that will be a 5th grader this year. I play in the handbell group at church and I also play the flute. My FAVORITE hobby is scrapbooking! I also like cats and Winnie the Pooh.

It's going to be a fun year of learning at Pine Tree Primary! I am very blessed to be at such a great school.
