The building is open at 7:30 am for breakfast, and children are picked up between 3:00-3:15 in the afternoon. Please remember the importance of having your child arrive and leave on time to school.
**Between 7:30 and 8:05, please do not park in the parking lot across from the school to walk children into the building.**

The tardy bell rings at 8:05. Any student entering school after 8:05 will need to get an admit-to-class slip from the office. Punctuality is expected so that children can learn the value of being on time, and can take advantage of learning opportunities which begin at 8:00 am.

Official attendance is counted at 10:00 each morning. Pine Tree Elementary enjoys a high rate of attendance, but we are striving to continuously improve and need your help in scheduling medical appointments other than at this time of day. If this is not possible, an official note from the doctor or dentist you have visited will allow us to count your child present when returning to school that day.

All students are invited into the school when the bell rings at 7:30 am. It is very important not to drop off students at the school before 7:30 because there is no supervision for their safety. All students must be picked up by 3:15. The dismissal bell rings at 3:00.
Transportation arrangements at the end of the day should stay consistently the same every day. Only in emergency situations should a change take place. A note is required for any change.

Students must be dropped off in the circle drive only. Students may be dropped off at the "school end" of the stadium parking lot and may walk across the field to the building. Staff is on duty at the front circle and will monitor these children as they walk.
**Between 7:30 and 8:05, please do not park in the parking lot across from the school to walk children into the building.**
**All vehicles, by law, should yield at crosswalks.**
