I graduated from Woden High School and enrolled immediately in Stephen F. Austin State University. I have a master's degree in biology with an emphasis in botany. I would still be going to school if I didn't have to make a living. I married Troy Morton in 1969. We have three wonderful children and three terrific grandsons. I have been teaching adult Sunday School at First Baptist Church for 32 years. I started teaching at Pine Tree High School in 1983. I love science and I love teaching young people science.
