My name is Ginger West, and I am the counselor at Pine Tree Middle 7. Although this is my third year as a staff member for Pine Tree ISD, I have fond memories of this wonderful district. That's right, I am a Pirate through and through, attending Pine Tree from kindergarten to high school graduation.

My husband is also a Pine Tree alum. We moved back to Longview after spending several years in Dallas. We were ready to settle down and return to our "roots". My husband and I are the proud parents of our energetic daugther, Ava Claire.

This year, I am fortunate to have the best of both worlds: staying home with my child and working as a counselor at Middle 7. I currently work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. If you need me in any way, please call me at 295-5136. If I am out that day, I will return your call promptly the following work day. I am here to help you and our students.

I am so excited to be back at my alma mater, supporting the students, parents, and faculty of this educational environment. I look forward to forming strong partnerships with parents, students, teachers, and administrators so that students at Pine Tree Middle 7 move toward becoming productive citizens with positive self-concepts and school memories. It is my goal to help each child reach his/her full potential. To reach my goal, I realize that students, teachers, families, and the community must work together.
