Hello! My name is Mrs. Spanhanks. I am your sixth grade math teacher. I am so glad to have you in my class this year.I am looking forward to all the fun and excitement we will experience this year. We will be expanding on all of the skills you learned last year in 5th grade as well as learning some new math concepts. We plan to accomplish our goals through: Hands on math activties, discussions, and vocabulary development.I am excited about our extended time period (hopefully this will cut down on homework) I look forward to parent involvement in the student learning process. At home help and encouragement in nightly study of vocabulary and study sheets can be very helpful for learning the vast amount of information we will cover this year.
