Hi, My name is Julie Carroll. I graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor of education degree in 1979. I got my Masters degree in education in 1983. I have been teaching for 24 years. I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade and 6th grade. I taught at Arlington ISD for 9 years and then with Richardson ISD for 6 years. I have been with Pine Tree ISD for the last 9 years.

I was born in Henderson, Texas and grew up there. After graduating from Baylor, I lived in Dallas. We moved from Dallas to Longview in 1995. I am married to Rick Carroll and we have one son named Ben. He is attending Baylor University.

I love teaching 2nd grade. It is my favorite grade to teach. I believe that all children can learn and I love to help them reach their full potential.
