MTA stands for Multisensory Teaching Approach. This program is designed for students who have been placed in the dyslexia reading program at Pine Tree. MTA is a highly structured phonics program especially for these students. I serve two campuses in our district. I start out at the Elementary School. There I teach three classes. Our classes are large this year but we are having a great time learning new strategies to help with our reading. Then I go to the Middle School where I teach four classes.
