I came to Pine Tree ISD in 1998 as the Assistant Principal at P.T. Elementary and Intermediate Schools.In 2002, I was assigned full time to Pine Tree Intermediate as the Assistant Principal. It felt good to be working with a team who is a constant source of strength and support.

This school year, 2006-2007 I became the principal of this great staff and student body. I want them to know that I care for them and respect them. In light of all the things going on in our society regarding our youth, I’m more convinced that schools/educators must take a more active role in their lives. I am persuaded that we must take on the responsibility to ensure that our youth become good citizens in our communities and live with Christian values and ethics. We must take a concerted effort to train, teach and nurture our youth. I can do my part by taking the time to listen, spend time with them, and be creative in my activities. We cannot neglect our youth. It is time for the village to come together and help our youth be successful.
