About Regular Economics:
Economics is something that you have been learning informally for years. Each time you deal with your time, money, or other resources, you are making economic choices. Now, we will formally study how those things affect us in the hope of becoming a better consumer, producer, and citizen. This is a required course for your graduation, but more than that, it will help you to understand the events that will be affecting you from now on.

About AP Macroeconomics:
This course is an introduction to macroeconomics. This subdivision of economics deals with economic aggregates: aggregate national income and output, government spending and taxation, money and banking, monetary policy and international trade. Microeconomics focuses on individual economic entities such as consumers and firms and emphasizes the allocation of resources and output between individual economic segments. Microeconomics is incorporated into the course as much as possible.

This is a college level course. Students may test in May to receive college credit for Macroeconomics.
About AP European History
The study of European history since 1450 introduces students to cultural, economic, political, and social developments that played a fundamental role in shaping the world in which they live. Without this knowledge, we would lack the context for understanding the development of contemporary institutions, the role of continuity and change in present-day society and politics, and the evolution of current forms of artistic expression and intellectual discourse. In addition to providing a basic narrative of events and movements, the goals of AP European History are to develop (a) an understanding of some of the principal themes in modern European history, (b) an ability to analyze historical evidence and historical interpretation, and (c) an ability to express historical understanding in writing.
About US Government
In Government, the focus is on the principles and beliefs upon which the United States was founded and on the structure, function, and powers of government at the national, state, and local levels. Students learn major political ideas and forms of government in
history. A significant focus of the course is on the U.S. Constitution, its underlying
principles and ideas, and the form of government it created.
