Throughout high school I felt as though God was calling me to be a teacher and a coach. I had heard of LU's outstanding Teacher Education program and after many hours of prayer, knew that's where I needed to be. At LU I played volleyball all 4 seasons and softball for 2. I wanted to learn everything more I could about volleyball to better myself for when I would be a coach. I graduated from LeTourneau University in May 2007. I had the awesome opportunity to complete my student teaching at Pine Tree Junior High and High School and had a blast teaching PE and Health! I got a call that a position had opened up at the High School to teach Fitness for Life, coach 9th grade volleyball and JV softball and I took it! I absolutely love everything about Pine Tree and the group of coaches I work with.
