My name is Mrs. Weidmer. I am from northern Minnesota and have taught for the past 10 years in the areas of Mathematics and Spanish for K-12 students.

My family and I recently moved to East Texas in order to be closer to family, and I am looking forward to living and working in this area and being a part of Pine Tree Junior High.

Review Number Basics

Absolute Values, inequalities, manipulating fracions, decimals, and solving simple systems of equality.

Overview: Introduction to Algebra. Learn to use analytical reasoning to solve problems. Recognize patterns, make inferences and draw conclusions based on patterns.

Work Includes: "What is Algebra Packet," "Building Chimneys - Part I Packet," "Painting Blocks part III Packet", and interactive pattern investigation using the Agile Mind technology program.

Overview: Simplyfing expressions and solve equations by combining like terms and by using the commutative, associative, and distributive properties. Use algebraic properties to solve problems involving Pythagorean Theorem and other goemetric concepts.
