I LOVE TEACHING SPANISH!

¡Bienvenidos! / Welcome! |
I have studied Spanish since the 9th grade. I fell in love with the language and culture. I believe that in today's society, especially for those of us living in Texas, the acquisition of the Spanish language is integral.
I also believe that the acquisition of English for our ELL students is just as important. I am hoping that this year we can all work together and gather the tools we need to construct a strong, solid foundation on which we can build the future!

I know we will have a great year learning and growing together!

Ms. Pete @ EF Culture Camp 2007 |
During the summer, I am a teacher at a Culture Camp for Foreign Exchange students coming to the United States for a year of study. I absolutely ADORE camp! I have met so many different students from all over the world. Not only do they learn from my experiences-- I learn from them as well. I still keep in touch with many of my former students. I sometimes receive postcards, letters, and gifts from all around the world! It's very exciting! | |
