Hi, my name is Keith Haney and I teach 6th grade science. I'm looking forward to another great school year in 2008-2009 and getting to know a whole new group of students.
I have enjoyed the outdoors since I was a young boy growing up on the coast of Texas. I spent most of my time fishing, swimming, and exploring the woods and islands around where we lived. Since I can remember I have been interested in many areas of science; plants, animals, the ocean, rocks, weather, and space to name a few.
One of my goals is to help my students develop an interest in the many aspects of science and reinforce the interests they may already have. |
