Hi! I'm Mrs. McGuffin and this is my first year to teach in the Pine Tree school district. I am excited about being your child's music teacher and hope your student is enjoying coming to my class! The 3rd graders are finishing up a study about Beethoven and learned how to play "Ode to Joy" from his Ninth Symphony on the soprano glockenspiels. The 4th graders just learned about all of the instruments of the orchestra and are now learning about 'syncopa'.
