Welcome to Ms. Rhodes' advanced math/science class!
Thank you for visiting my website. I hope it will prove helpful during the year for you. Advanced math/science is an course for students with an aptitude for math and science and a willingness to work hard and also have fun! In math students learn all of 6th grade math curriculum and half of the 7th grade curriculum. This is a challenging program to open our minds to the wonderful worlds of math and science!
Who is Kathy Rhodes?
I am an educator of young minds for 18 years. I love teaching and believe it is what I was born to do. I received my teaching degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and began my teaching career at Gilmer Jr. High School in 1994. In 2001, I came to Pine Tree and have enjoyed my time here. I love teaching math and science! I know we will have a wonderful time together.

Computer Lab: Research on Elements
Weekly quizzes are given on Friday! Unit tests are given the last week of each six weeks.
