Hi! Welcome to 5th grade music. In music this year we will sing lots of songs from many different countries. We will also play rhythm instruments and the Orff instruments designed especially for children. We also study some well known composers and the instruments of the orchestra. Music grades are based mostly on class participation. Your child is expected to participate in all activities. We will do some written tests but they will be prepared for these in class and won't have to do any outside study. We will have many fun activities in music and I hope your child will enjoy this year. |
