My name is Kathy Stark and this is my fourth year at Pine Tree Intermediate. I have taught special education resource reading and math classes for the last three years and this is my first year teaching fourth grade language arts and social studies. I am looking forward to working with students of all abilities this year.
I am proud to say that I am a Pine Tree graduate. I attended Pine Tree schools from kindergarten through graduation. After I graduated, I moved to California and lived there for six years. Then, I moved to Florida where I attended Flagler College in St. Augustine. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. I hold teaching certificates in both special educatin and general education.
I moved back to Longview in 1998 and began teaching at Pine Tree Elementary. I taught special education life skills for two years. After staying home with my children for five years I went to work teaching kindergarten at School for Little Children where I stayed for three years. I returned to Pine Tree in 2008. |
