Welcome to our computer lab! All Kindergarteners come to computer lab everyday for 35 minutes. One day a week they work on SRA Tech Knowledge and 4 days a week they work on Writing to Read.

SRA Tech Knowledge is a program design to teach the computer components and skills. The program consist of small lessons that tell students about computers, then it gives them a project to do using what they just heard. It is entertaining and very educational.

Writing to Read is a program design to help our students learn to write and read. They learn through listening to phonetic sounds, writing and typing the words in their work journal. Each book consist of 3 words. When they have completed a book the get a badge and get to take their book home.

Practice typing first and last name with capital letters at the begining of name and 1 space between first and last.
Practice the letters, sounds and words they are learning in Writing to Read.
