I am a graduate of Gilmer High School and Stephen F. Austin State University. I have a Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specilization in Theatre and a Reading endorsement. |

Course Description - 7th grade Drama |
Drama is filled with a variety of activities that explore many aspects of acting and performing. Students will spend time getting to know each other while learning theatre appreciation. Improvisation, commericals and lip sync performances are always a favorite unit. Students will participate in creative activities like making duct tape masks while studying theatre history. There are lots of opportunities to share your creative side in 7th grade Drama.

Course Description - 8th grade Drama |
8th grade Drama builds on what is learned in 7th grade and taking those extra extra step. In this class you will also learn to pantomime and perform a play for an audience of your peers. |

Course Description - Advanced Drama |
Wow - lots of fun and hard work! We will learn everything that 8th grade Drama does plus spend lots of time preparing for various UIL events. You are required to compete in One Act Play as well as the UIL Academic contest. |
