Welcome to Coach Burrow's 8th Grade History Class. This is my third year at Pine Tree Junior High and I am looking forward to teaching our young children the history of America. Other duties I have at Pine Tree are JV volleyball and assistant varsity softball.

Today students will be getting their tests back. We will also be working on TAKS note cards.

We will discuss the battles of Lexington and Concord. (Chapter 7 section 1) Students will work on TAKS note cards. Also, if you did not finish 7.1 Main Idea worksheet it will be due at the end of class today.

Students will watch the movie, "April Morning" about Lexington and Concord. Also, if you did not pass your test, today is the last day to come in at 7:30 to make corrections for a 70.

Students will finish watching "April Morning," about Lexington and Concord. Also, students will begin working on Chapter 7 vocabulary worksheet. It is not for homework.

Finish discussing Section 1 about the 2nd Continental Congress and the Battle of Bunker Hill. Finish working on Chapter 7 vocabulary worksheet. If not completed in class it will be for homework.
