Dear Parents,

As we begin our second six weeks of instruction, and our students receive their report cards, I am reminded of the importance of parent/teacher communication. We constantly encourage our teachers to keep the lines of communication open with you, but we also want you to feel comfortable contacting us at any time. Our teachers are available to visit with you about your child’s progress in school and are available to answer any questions you might have about our policies, procedures, and programs.

On a related note, school will release early (12:45) on Monday, October 17th, but our teachers will be available for parent conferences until 6:30PM. Our teachers will send home a simple form to allow you to schedule a conference time on the afternoon or evening of the 17th. We hope you will take advantage of this valuable opportunity for a little face to face contact.

At Pine Tree Middle School, we value our parents in the same way that we value our students and we truly view student learning as a product of teamwork between parents, teachers, and students.
