This is my second year to teach and I love it! The first year was great, but this year will be even greater or even the greatest! I have a wonderful bunch of eager-to-learn young minds, waiting to be filled with so much knowledge!

I grew up in Sulphur Springs, Texas, which is about 2 hours northwest of Longview. When I was 9 and 10 years old, I used to walk from my house near downtown to the library and swimming pool every summer day. I loved reading and swimming, but not at the same time.

I have one brother, named Marcos, who is 11 months younger than I am. He likes to write poems, and drive way too fast! He was my bestfriend growing up.

I have two daughters, Lauren Nichole, and Amber Michelle. They are 6 and 7 years old. I like to play with them and teach them about nature during my free time.

Other things that I like to do include; reading, cross-stitching, hiking, gardening, and sudoku.

I have been married to Bob, my husband, for 10 years now. He is artistically inclined. That means that he can draw and paint really well. He also likes to make up fantastic stories, and pretend with Lauren and Amber.

We live up on a high hill in Hallsville with 2 dogs named Daisy and Mushu, a cat named Pixie, six Arabian horses, and three mammoth size horses. The horses actually belong to a cousin of mine.
