I will send home a reading passage each Monday, which is due on Friday. Your child should be reading each night and AR testing each day. Please encourage your child to read all picture books at least two times before testing. Your child must also maintain an 80% average and reach their 6 weeks goal.

Math homework is given out on Mondays. This will consist of Minute Math and/or different math skills worksheets. It will also be due on Friday.

Spelling list are given on Mondays. Students are expected to write their words each night and not to work ahead (unless given special instructions). Spelling test will be on Fridays.

Also ask your child about his/her vocabulary that they are learning about in class. Depending on the vocabulary list this will also come home on Mondays. During the week we will discuss and do many activities with the vocabulary words.
