2nd six weeks

1. Reading a tape measure. Standard measurements.
2. Assignment sheet tape measure reading.
2.a. Test on reading a tape measure
3. Print drawing
4. Three view drawing assignment with all measurements.
5. Welding assignment.
a. six flat welds with 6010 & 7018 rods. Major grade
b. six horizantal welds with 6010 and 7018 rods. Major grade
c. six up hill welds with 6010 & 7018 rods. Major grade
d. six down hill welds with 6010 & 7018 rods. Major grade

3rd six weeks

1. Beveling two pieces of metal with a cutting torch. Major grade
2. Rod welding
a. Welding two pieces of beveled metal together
b. Using 6010 and 7018 welding rods. Major grade
3. Mig welding
a. Discussion on Mig welding from text book and answer questions from the Mig welding chapter.
4. Run six beads using the Mig welder in the flat position. Major grade

4th six weeks

1. Welding projects
a. continuing with student projects.
2. Welding stress test.
a. flat weld bend test. Major grade
b. Uphill weld bend test. Major grade

5th six weeks

1. Welding projects
a. students working on their projects.
2. Continue with weld stress test for certification. Major grade

6th six weeks

1. Welding projects
a. students finishing up their projects.
b. Final welding test 6010,7018, and mig welds.
