Spelling Lists are given out every Monday. Each student also receives a spelling chart. Spelling charts are due on Friday, test day.

Vocabulary lists are also given out on Monday of each week. The vocabulry words are from our weekly story. A test will be given over the list on Friday.

"Moose Math," is a weekly skill review that is given to the children on Monday of each week, and is due Thursday of the same week. Pleas feel free to go over this assignment with your child.

The class reads a new story each week. The students have an opportunity to read the story with a group, the teacher, and on their own. The class is tested on the story each Friday.

The AR Program is a program that helps to strengthen your childs reading comprehension. Each child has a reading zone appropriate to their reading levels. They need to check out books weekly on their levels, read the books, and test over them in class. Each student is required to earn at least 2 AR points weekly. I will help you monitor your child's progress with weekly updates.
