The Academic Decathlon team had PT's first-ever Acadec camp this summer, and it was a huge success! The kids went to lectures from me and the team captain--Rachel Leonard. We played games, watched the movie Gods and Generals, and more. This year we are studying the Civil War, so most of our time was spent working with that subject. At the end of the camp, we had an obstacle course where the kids had to maneuver through obstacles and then answer questions at the end. It was a great weekend.
