Take Home Folder |
Thank you for checking your child's take home folder nightly. Your interest and extra help at home, play a major part in your child's success. Your child should read nightly for about twenty minutes. During this time, it is great to reread books as well as read new books together. Rereading is such a great way to help your child become a fluent reader.
Library Books |
Two library books should come every Thursday. You may keep these books until the following Thursday or return them as soon as your child is finished reading them. Please remember that these books are self selected by your child and they may need your help reading them! |
Poetry Notebook |
Your child's poetry folder should come home every Friday. During the weekend, please let your child read this poem to you as well as those from previous weeks. |
Spelling |
Your child will bring new words home every Monday along with spelling homework for that week. A spelling test is given every Friday! |
