My name is Nidia Rivera. I graduated from Boriqua College with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary education in 1986. I began my teaching career in a first grade bilingual class in Harlem, New York in 1987.
In 1994, I graduated from the New York State University with a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education.
In 1998, I taught Spanish and English as a second language
(E.S.L) at both middle and high school levels for the Utica City School District until 2005.
I am currently team teaching a 4th grade bilingual class with
Mrs. Cindy Duckworth at the Pine Tree Independent School District. My content areas are Math, Science, and Social Studies.
