PTA Leadership/Executive Board: Various opportunities exist for leadership in PTA and on the executive board. Please consider playing a vital role in guiding our organization to partner with Pine Tree ISD in relevant ways that fulfill the PTA mission.
Program Committee: Volunteers are needed to plan the various meetings and programs of the PTA for the year. These volunteers will coordinate the programs for the three required membership meetings as well as special programs the PTA may make available to the families of our students throughout the school year.
Membership Committee: The PTA membership committee oversees the activities to recruit members/volunteers for the Pine Tree PreK-6 PTA. The committee is also responsible for the data entry of all members and volunteers into the database, the collection of membership dues, reporting to state PTA offices and publication of the PTA directory available only to members of the PTA. Much of the work is not done on campuses or during school times and can accommodate a flexible schedule for evenings and weekends.
Fundraising Committee: The fundraising committee directs the efforts to raise money for PTA funded programs at all four of our campuses (Primary, Elementary, Intermediate and Middle). This includes the promotion and administration of fundraisers as well as the collection and delivery of orders. Volunteers are asked to give time during the fall fundraisers and the Spring fundraisers.
Hospitality Committee: This committee shows appreciation to teachers and staff by way of luncheons, snacks or other activities throughout the year. The committee is active only at certain times and does not require a weekly/monthly commitment.
Reflections Program: This program runs in October and November. Volunteers copy and distribute rules, collect entries, judge/enlist judges, and order trophies.

PTA member dues are $6.50
$4.50 for teachers.
