Greggton Rotary Club donated about 500 books to kindergartners at Pine Tree and Spring Hill primary schools. Called the "I Like Me" program, the books are personalized to fit each child. "They are able to read a story about themselves, their friends, their teacher," said Rotarian Laurie Pearce. "This builds self-esteem, confidence and begins an early habit of reading and appreciation of books." Pirate Pals is a positive reward to students who implement our CHAMPs guidelines. Teachers choose two students from their class twice a month who demonstrate positive attitudes, behaviors, as well as traits that will enable them to be successful. Kid’s Station has generously allowed us to use their facility as a reward for our students. We take Pirate Pals to Kid’s Station to play for about 15 minutes. Mrs. Riley calls the names over the speaker and each students receives a Pirate Pal sticker to wear for the remainder of the day.

Teacher request forms for students entering Kindergarten will be available online April 14 – May 9, 2008. Request forms may be printed from online button below, and are also available at your child’s current campus. All teacher request forms must be returned to your child’s current campus. For specific teacher requests to be considered, eight names must be listed on the request forms. Teacher request forms picked up at your child’s current campus have a list of the next grade level’s teachers on the back.
