First Mate is a Pine Tree Primary Staff member that has been recognized as some who has gone above and beyond. First Mate correlates with Pirate Pals. This person is nominated by some one on our campus, they get a card with a magnet and they get to park in the principal's parking space. Their picture is taken and hung in the teacher lounge. When their voyage is up they must nominate someone else.
