- Utilize basic decoding skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge about books.
- Write letters and words.
- In addition to these skills, students are expected to read simple, patterned text.
Math
- Reproduce and create patterns.
- Count objects to 20.
- Identify numbers to 20.
- Tell time to the hour.
- Recognize shapes and coins.
- Use the concepts of addition and subtraction.
