Pine Tree ISD round-up for children entering Pine Tree Kindergarten next year will be held again in the Primary cafeteria on Friday, May 9th, 2008, 9:00 - 11:30 am.

The child or children must be present to be registered. He/She must be 5 on or before September 1, 2008. Please bring your child with you.

Parents must supply
-a certified birth certificate,

-the child's social security card,

-proof of residence
Documents may include: a rent receipt, lease agreement, contract for construction of new home, or current utility bill other than cable,

If presenting a utility bill, you must bring the portion of the bill that shows your name, address, and date. Only bills from SWEPCO, City of Longview Water, ATMOS/Centerpoint/Lone Star Gas, or Southwestern Bell will be accepted.

-a driver’s license for the parent of who is registering the child,

-and a current shot record.

To attend kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before September 1.

Only families who live in the district are eligible to enroll unless a member of the family works for the district. Family members employed by the PTISD must to fill out a transfer form at central office prior to coming to register.

To attend Pre-kindergarten, children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, and must qualify for free or reduced lunch or be from a non-English speaking home.
