Connect with other parents by volunteering

Volunteer choices can range from one hour each week to three hours every other week or whatever fits your schedule!  Proposed service projects include the following opportunities:

 TEACHER APPRECIATION -
A.  Food - bring baked goods or food for Teacher Appreciation events; serve as a host/hostess of an event.
B.  Volunteer Lunch Substitute - substitute in a classroom for a two-hour slot to allow a teacher or paraprofessional time to enjoy an extra-special lunch off-campus!

 YOUTH ADVOCACY
-
Clothes Closet - help with set up of
the new clothing boutique so students can dress for success! (involves
picking up donated clothing at each campus, delivering to boutique,
sorting and hanging up items, meeting with families for fittings)


CAMPUS PROJECTS -
A.  Copy Pool
- volunteer behind-the-scenes at the junior high or high school campus making copies, organizing, archiving, sorting, data entry, or helping prepare mail outs on a project-by-project basis.
A.  Going Green -  When does blue and gold make green?  Help Pine Tree secondary become environmentally proactive with a recycling program.
B.  Beautification -  assist with the development of a low-maintenance exterior landscape redesign; assist with interior projects as well!

  LEADERSHIP -
 Share your organizational and administrative skills as an officer or committee coordinator.  No previous experience required -- training will be provided!

No previous experience required, just a willing heart!

Training and a notebook is provided for each volunteer position. Terms of service is for one year, however a person may serve two consecutive terms in the same position. Executive Board meetings are every other month with other duties performed as needed.
