* Your child needs to practice, practice, practice their handwriting on a daily basis!
Some fun ways are to use a dry erase board, markers, special pencils, etc. Anything that excites them about writing. It is essential that we work on letter formation and writing all capital and lowercase letters correctly.
* Have your child recite the alphabet to you with the sound that the letter makes.
* Let your child write their own stories-let them be an author and an illustrator! A simple spiral notebook, stickers, pencil, and crayons are all you need! Your child can put a sticker in their spiral and then write a story about it. They can also illustrate their story. All of your children are so creative-let's provide them with opportunities to do so!!! |
