Pine Tree Elementary offers diverse approaches to provide effective reading strategies in order to maximize student success. Our Reading Lab provides Literacy Groups and Stevenson Reading Groups for students who need extra support for reading intervention. These programs are individualized based on student assessment and observation of reading behaviors. Reading strategies are taught to build a foundational suppport for scafolding complex reading processes. Daily instruction for each child is analyzed and aligned for accelerated progress. Our goal is to simplify the complexity of the reading process for every child.
